What NotebookLI is
A free reading tool that helps students work through scientific papers, run as an educational project. Free accounts include 20AI credits a day; you can request full access from the homepage. It's provided as-is: we work hard to keep it up and your work safe, but there's no uptime guarantee, and features may change or the service may wind down.
Your account
One account per person, with a real email you control. You're responsible for what happens under your login, so keep your password to yourself.
Fair use
Don't script, scrape, or automate the app; don't try to bypass the credit limit or the human check; don't create accounts in bulk; and don't use the AI features to generate harmful content. Accounts that abuse the service can be limited or removed.
Papers and your work
Papers belong to their authors and publishers — only upload material you have the right to read, like open-access articles or PDFs from your school library. Your highlights, notes, vocabulary, and worksheets are yours.
About the AI
AI explanations are study aids, not ground truth. They can be wrong, oversimplified, or miss context — always check claims against the paper itself, and never treat anything here as medical advice.
